Integra – An Overview of Our Organization

Integra Inc. Construction CompanyThe team here at Integra is comprised of industry professionals with pooled experience and successfully completed projects in diverse construction environments. Integra’s ability to satisfy its own high standards for professional and effective customer service are directly related to the accumulated cross-over management skills of their management staff and the reliability of its skilled craftspeople. This makes us equally adept with a broad range of projects from seemingly opposite ends of the contracting spectrum.

"It’s What Our Customers Expect!"

general contractor, general building construction, construction, design engineering, building construction, St. LouisIt is really not that unusual for a purchasing manager or an engineering supervisor with one of our heavy industrial manufacturing customers to be initially surprised when they hear that we are also experienced with commercial and institutional markets. However, it doesn’t take very long to realize that the same ownership we take for managing and scheduling critical requirements of their projects also applies equally to other project settings, whether it’s new x-ray equipment installation in a hospital, a robot line retrofit in a car plant, or a multi-phased corporate office renovation.

Let’s look for a moment at the elements that these different-sounding projects all share in common, along with the level of commitment and professionalism that Integra possesses and uses to warranty success on its projects.

Safety

Workplace and worker safety is the overriding priority for Integra. "There is NO job that cannot be done safely."

It bears repeating that Integra's commitment to worker and workplace safety is an important facet of our overall organizational makeup.  We treat safety on the job just as important as any other item of scope on the overall project.

At Integra, there is nothing about safety that "just goes without saying".  The importance of safety on our projects is reinforced at every level:

1. Integra's leadership maintains clear direction and frequent
     communication on safety strategies.
2.  Our full-time safety supervisor screens every new project for
compliance with the latest standards and communicates our safety
     plans directly with the customer.
3.  The project superintendent has the sanction and full support to
immediately address and remediate any safety issues arising from
     changing conditions in the field.
4.  This unbroken concentration on safety is carried through to where it
matters most, - to our individual tradespeople on the job, with
pre-job safety orientations, scheduled safety talks, and appropriate
specialized training involving any new equipment.

Schedule

Schedule"If there is just barely enough time to do the job right the first time, then there certainly is not going to be enough time to do it over again."

This old adage holds even more meaning for Integra when you consider our valued customers and the environments that we frequently work in. Nowadays, the owner’s project team leader must work within extremely tight timing constraints to carry out periodic plant maintenance and expansion projects, as well as aggressively ramp-up production commitments typically associated with new product launches.

Owner’s Operations

Owner's OperationsScheduling strategy often involves planning critical work during active production. The same proven management skills and preemptory leadership strategies have resulted in our ability to anticipate and resolve potential compromises to the owner’s ongoing operations. And, when administered with the appropriate focus, the same principles apply whether the worksite happens to be a main customer parking garage or a mill operation in an aluminum foundry.

Each of the customers we’ve described is equally concerned for the safety of their own employees and customers, and equally held responsible by their own management for assuring that there is absolutely no interruption to their respective ongoing business.

Quality Management

Quality ManagementProject Delay – "That Does NOT Compute!"

At Integra, we simply do not accept delays to our projects. They hold the potential for catastrophic impact to the owner in terms of disruption to their workforce and costly lost production. Our customers have repeatedly complemented our team on the way we actively incorporate Integra’s mission and philosophy into the requirements of each new project. Challenges to the project schedule are met with aggressive exploration of alternatives and creative initiatives for the customer. It increases their confidence to use us again for subsequent work. We also realize that our customers are in a position where it is simply impossible for them to accept anything less than our total commitment to the project.

Project Ownership

Integra is in a position to intelligently discuss both conceptual and detailed issues with the customer.

Integra has acquired an enviable level of technical expertise and management experience from successfully completed projects in a wide range of work settings for its diverse customer base. This translates directly into immediate benefits for customers when Integra takes on multiple responsibilities during the project.

It doesn’t take long before our customers learn that they can rely on us to satisfy all of their construction needs. New customers are pleasantly surprised to learn that the account manager, the project superintendent, and even the tradespeople we schedule for their project are typically well versed with commercial, institutional, and even industrial construction and management techniques. The Integra team is growing, but new additions to our office and field effort quickly discover what old-timers already know – that at Integra we focus on the professional delivery of services to the customer, regardless of their business.

Our background is based on a wide range of customers and industry types. It is very likely that we have already successfully completed similar or identical projects to one that might be contemplated by a prospective new customer.
